It’s a 2006 330i in Monaco blue with the sport package and black Dakota leather interior. I’m pretty excited, finally after all the years of driving beaters with no working a/c... I have a car with working a/c. I’m moving up in the world!

Oh yeah and the most important part... it’s a 6 speed manual ;)

Hard to believe that’s a ten year old car. Still looks new to me. Best of luck with it.

Love the wheels! They fit so well with the E90.

Congratulations!

Love the 330i wheels. Don’t know if it has a CDV (Clutch delay valve) but you should make some research on that.

Excellent choice! The E90s really seem to be aging gracefully and congrats on finding a manual. Dammit Bangle, I wanted to keep hating you.

Congrats man! 330s are great. I had an E46 330ci (coupe NOT convertible) and it was an absolute blast to drive. Now I’ve got that need to look at them on Craigslist. Thanks, lol.

And just out of curiosity, what’d you pay for it? It looks like it’s in great condition for being 10 years old.

Looks just like mine - 07 335i in that very color. I just replaced those wheels with some CSL reps this spring. You’ll have most of my performance without the issues (HPFP, turbo’s, etc) perfect for DD!

I too bought a 3 series recently. Have any plans to modify it it a bit? I found out I could squeeze BMWs 359m style wheels under mine which I would use for summers and keep the stock wheels for winter.

That was the idea, for a weekend car the boost would be nice, I rode in a friends 135i with JB4 tune and it was a rocketship. However, after reading about many HPFP, turbo, injector, wastegate replacements I decided to stay away from them for a DD.

I want to drive it as is for a while otherwise I won’t be able to appreciate the improvements of any mods. The big one which I would love, but is a bit too expensive to justify would be AA headers and their tune, the dyno results are really enticing. Other than that probably M3 front control arms once they need to be serviced. I helped a friend install M3 control arms on his 330i and he said it improved the steering feel.

Those are my favorite BMW wheels.

2006 325i, meh

I like the ones on the 2008 328i, but they’re too small

2009 328i’s ugly af

2011 328i wheels were too low profile and prone to damage, plus too many spokes

2014 too small

2016 too small
